The Web 2.0 Hype Generator was inspired by the mini-article, "Build a Web 2.0 Startup!"
in the September 2006 issue of Wired. In the article, authors Robert Capps and Adam Rogers jokingly
pointed out that it was possible to create a pitch for a new Web 2.0 startup by mixing up random words
from different lists of ingredients.
Clearly, this represented an opportunity for a new and vital web application, so here
it is below. Simply select the appropriate ingredients and the Hype Generator will produce a concise
statement that can be used to promote your new Web 2.0 business to investors and/or other interested
observers. If that's too much work, then just click on the "Random Hype" button to see what your new
online business will be.
