My name is David Keener, and I’m a web architect, consultant and
writer based in the Northern Virginia area of the United States. Conveniently, this places me
in the heart of the high-tech Internet corridor for the Washington D.C. metropolitan area.
With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, I’m a
seasoned leader and an experienced problem solver with a range of technical skills that
I can bring to bear on any project. I can also leverage years of experience in practical
areas such as configuration management, content publishing, database design, technical
training and graphics. I’m a versatile technologist who can play a key strategic role
in projects of any size.
I am a professionally published writer, with articles on
subjects as diverse as Internet business strategies, ecommerce, UNIX technologies and
career advice. My writing experience also includes design documents, requirements
documents, proposals, marketing materials and business plans. Check out some of my
most recent articles below:
I’ve built enterprise-scale web applications for companies
both large and small, as well as non-profit organizations. My web sites have ranged
from small “online brochures” to large corporate sites with advanced features such as
searches, document searches integrated with metadata stored in a database, content
management, dynamically created charts and ecommerce. Customers have included NASDAQ,
Thomson Publishing, Nextel, America Online, the National Council of Teachers of
Mathematics and others.
